I'm generally not crazy about providing my credentials to random 3rd party apps, and I have no idea how good the sync and conflict algorithms are.I have had the same problem but use a very useful backup program (Goodsync) for all of my backups and will also sync any folder (or folders) with any Cloud storage, including onedrive, idrive, goodledrive etc.
Thanks for the suggestion, though I would much have preferred to be able to use the official, or built-in, One Drive application.
From the Start screen, type “settings” and select “PC Settings”. Now click on “Disconnect” to dissociate your Microsoft Account.
If you've already set up a local account but want to switch to using a Microsoft account, you can follow the same procedure, but select “Connect to a Microsoft account”.
However, several users don't want to use a Microsoft account, perhaps for security or privacy reasons.
When you first set up your Windows 8 or Windows 8.1 PC, the default option is to set up a Microsoft account, but you don't have to.
The entire network is moderated by a team of admins keeping it clean and safe for everyone to use.
